This box has oodles of 'character' and patina that shows its true age including deep scratches, dings, pinprick holes, rust spots, stains etc. It is not a brand new box, but one that has lived a full life.
 
It has been cleaned thoroughly inside and out, but at the same time we've tried to keep as much of the original character as possible.
 
The rubber seal on the inside of the lid has been replaced with a fresh one to ensure the box closes securely.
 
Please see photos for in regards to the condition of this box. The hinge, lock catch and inside of the box are rusty hence the lower price.
