Variegated Merino Blend Darning Yarn (2 Ply) - Slate Shake

Variegated Merino Blend Darning Yarn (2 Ply) - Slate Shake

It's rare to find a variegated yarn that's not OTT - the combination of subtle jewel tones in this colourway is a real winner.

This yarn is pre-consumer waste yarn rescued from a high-quality Italian textile mill and as such stock of this colourway is limited so pick it up while you can!

A 2-ply yarn which can split into a single strand for mending very fine knitwear, or use held double if you require a thicker yarn for your mending project. Each strand has a slight crimp to it which will add some texture to your finished repair.

70 % merino wool and 30% acrylic - it has a similar fibre composition to a classic darning wool or mending yarn, which are often a mix of wool and polyester/nylon. The addition of acrylic creates a yarn that's a little more hard-wearing than a pure wool yarn, making it ideal for repairing socks, cuffs and armpit areas that take more wear and tear.

Each card contains approximately 10 m (33 ft) of yarn.

The spacing between each colour change/repeat is inconsistent and varies between 4cm and 30cm.

Please note: Every effort has been taken to ensure these photos are an accurate representation of the colours, but since every computer monitor and mobile device is different, we cannot guarantee the colour will be an exact match to what you see online.
